What is the purpose/goal of this website
I hope you find this is a place to learn more about my work in radio, my research in Latina/o/x feminist media studies, which is just a fancy academic way of saying I am interested in studying what media like radio, television, and film tells us about the diverse experiences of Latinx and Chicana more specifically, in the United States.
Production and how media gets created. I’m also a big history nerd and I’m passionate about sharing more about the wonderful legacy and stories about Mexican American communities in the United States. When I started my work in radio in 2007, I had no idea courageous, intelligent, and outspoken Chicanas had graced the airwaves 30 years earlier
